Classes..classes.....Our Basic Open water classes have been coming and going every week or other week!  Want to learn to dive?  Give us a call and we can tell you what you need to do. We'll continue Open Water classes every two weeks through out the year. Just check out class schedule on our "class" page.

Advanced, Rescue, and Divemaster classes have ended for the season. We'll start back up with these programs in the Spring, unless you're planning on doing a trip with us somewhere South. However, the PADI Emergency First Responder course (required for Divemaster and Rescue) will be offered in Dec, Feb and April.  Nitrox will always be offered on request as dives are not required for certification. It's wise to take a Nitrox class before your next trip to enjoy the benefit of longer dives!


If you can't make any of our trips, please give me a chance to organize your own dive travel. We are wholesalers for many resorts, so I might be able to save you a few bucks over published prices and allow me to make a few pennies and kudos on commissions instead of some on-line agent.  I'd be glad to put together your own group trip and maybe include it in my trip list!


Our new thrust for our 2008 travel program will be..."Go Diving...Grow Business!"  Many of my travel clients own their own businesses. It's not uncommon for these folks to actually gain more business while networking with fellow trippers.  Professionals in all fields have benefited, so why not you?! Lawyers, Doctors, Hair Specialists, Dentists, Building Contractors and more have reaped the benefit of this new way of meeting potential clients while enjoying the sport they love. I don't know the legality of deducting the trip cost if business is derived from the trip, but I'm sure it's a BIG possiblility!!  Give it a try.  Click on "trips" on the menu for more info on what's in store for '07!


It's no secret. The dive industry, like many sports, loses more than 50% of it's participants in the first five years of involvement. I'm doing my best to give you a reason to keep diving and enjoying this facinating, easy to do, activity.  After 34 years in the business and 44 years of diving, I still love that first splash of every dive!  I never know what's in store for me, be it on a new wreck, reef or just cruising familar grounds.  Get off your duff and get back into the sport you once loved. I'm giving you the opportunity to join a local group to travel to some of the best the world has to offer. One thing I'm sure of...I'm only going around once, so "I never want to look back and say I should've!"  That's why "I'm going with or without you!"  Let Orbit Marine "Dive you the World!"

    We will continue to offer new dive programs weekly! Our upcoming Basic Open Water courses for this month are now posted under "classes". Note that we will have programs at the Westport YMCA, Univ. of Bridgeport, Shelton Comm. Ctr, Milford/Orange Y and New Haven Park and Rec school. Please click "classes" for more info. Classes are up from last year! Looks like more families are getting into the sport with many classes sporting 10-12 year olds!  Yeah!!! Ma and pa divers are now coming back with the kids.  Diving is great family fun!  So give us a call and sign up! New classes just about every week or week end. Short, fun and SAFE!
